"Come on, Dante." Kiba said, holding out a hand. "My father summoned these for easy travel across the ravine."

Jurei froze as he heard the voice, he turned his eyes slowly both ways, no one visible was there. Less then calming him it made him worried...someone knew his position and that was never a friendly position to be in. He tried hard to keep his calm, he shuffled his feet and curved his head around the tree he was hiding behind so that he could see the two figures that early he only could hear, still being careful to remain silent as possible as to not alert their attention if they were not the ones speaking.
He saw two males, around his age he could figure. One was only looking onward at a great beast, what appeared to be a scaly hulking bird, what no...was that a dragon? Well then Jurei could at least conclude that despite the trees he was most certainly not in Konoha then, konoha he was sure contained a severe lack of dragons. He peered closer staring at the expressions of each figure. Beside the straight forward looking man stood a man with a blindfold, Jurei assumed this was due to the fact that he was a prisoner but then, most prisoners weren't that calm not seeing in front of them, especially if he knew the beast in front of him was so close. Both were ninja he concluded, no real other way to explain such dress logically, as for which was talking...
Jurei put his bets on the blindfolded one, the one ordering the other now to board the beast was too set minded on a task while the masked eyed one seemed to be paying attention about everything around him. He stared for a second wondering what he should do, he couldnt just announce his presence, that would be dangerous in most situations. He took out some parchment and began punching holes with the end of a bo-shuriken. In the end the parchment read in Braille "I am Akiken, Jurei am I among friends or foes of Sunagakure?" he attached it to the boshuriken and then threw the shuriken at the ground before the blindfolded man, praying maybe that he was no prisoner but blind

Dante Turned to 'look' at Kiba once more, his face a mask of unfounded fear (or so he hoped). "We are going to.... fly!" he asked his gaze flicking around with the uneasiness that could really only be explained as a blind mans fear of losing all connection with the outside world that he may obtain from the ground remaining firmly at his feet. "You will have to forgive me but I'd like a few more minutes with my feet on the solid ground before we fly much of anywhere..." he continued indicating his blindfold in an attempt to convey the reason for this unusual request. But it was at about that precise moment, a rather accurate estimate of the time due to the weapon flying through his little sphere of awareness, that the newest arrival seemed to choose as his moment to respond.
Without a second thought about the unusual appearance of his actions Dante bent over to retrieve the note. The way he saw it there was little reason to hide the other shinobi's presence from kiba... partly because he had already assumed that the Hoshi nin already knew and partly because he had no real excuse to pick up a note from the ground that seemed to make any logical sense. As he ran his hand along the series of holes that made the message in the paper Dante could hardly suppress the smile, whoever it was, they were quicker then most... he couldn't even begin to count the number of times he had be thrown a written note without any way to read it. "I wouldn't know," he muttered once more throwing his voice to the ear of Jurei, "but I am Dante from Konoha, and at least in my own time about 20 years ago Suna was a friend." As he spoke he rotated the weapon in his hand, it was of exceptional craftsmanship and Dante couldn't help but admire the details as his hand slid across the surface of it. "You may find it helpful to know that we are near the village of Hoshigakure," he continued his head tilting back towards the sky, "you are welcome to join us if you would like."

Kiba looked a little confused at first, but shrugged and laid back on the great beast.
"So..." He said, trying to start up a conversation. If they were talking, it would probably keep Dante's mind occupied when they were flying... He might not even know they were off the ground. "How do you know the Akatsuki?" He asked, staring up at a few clouds.

Jurei nodded, well he had learned a good few things now. The man was blind but despite this was over coming it, either through natural balance in the senses or through the use of Jutsu he could not exactly tell. The man was also from konoha meaning that he should be trustworthy enough as an ally, if he were indeed telling the truth. Jurei saw no headband upon his form and assumed that it was to keep his identity hidden from those to whom it might prove unfriendly.
He sighed taking a deep breath before clutching the Shuriken yoyo and walking out before the two people. He walked closer, onto the path but not within arms reach of the two before him. He bowed politely as he could. "Im sorry to Intrude, I am Akiken, Jurei of Sunagakure" He turned to Kiba "Your blind friend said you were friendly to those of sand village? Is this to be believed?"

Move, move, move! Kukiko pressed hard into the earth, jumping onto the nearest branch of a tree, repelling as soon as she landed. The ground where she had just been burst into flames. Who could be chasing me? Twisting her body in midair, Kukiko let out a prepared wave of five shuriken in the general direction of her attackers. I hit on in the achilles tendon earlier. If it's a regular squad, that leaves three left. The shuriken impacted against something metallic, and were thrown from their original flight path, planting their somewhat dull blades into a nearby tree. A kunai flew past her head, a piece of paper attached to the handle. The explosion knocked Kukiko from the tree, her forehead smashing against a low lying branch, knocking her unconcious.

As the man stepped out from behind the bushes Dante hide his smile, people with some level of sense, how rare. Turning slowly to Kiba he nodded indicating that the man was indeed in the same boat as he himself was, a ninja plucked through time. To be honest it hadn't been that hard to tell, he knew so little of the surroundings and the political alliances of current villages, actually he knew almost exactly as much as Dante had known upon arriving in this new world.
"You know, I think I am ready to fly now" he murmured motioning behind him for Jurei to follow, "but can that, I am going to call it, dragon carry one more?"
((this is really weak for a post, if i get the chance i will add to it later, but for now that is all i have time for))

(( You think yours are short... >.> ))
Kiba throws himself onto the Suna shinobi. "Don't resist." Kiba hissed in his ear. The dragon then pinned Dante to the ground with it's claw.
"I got his ally, too!" Kiba shouts up to the patrolling shinobi on the wall, who were about to sound an alarm at the sight of an enemy. When the guards continued on their way, Kiba and the dragon let the other two up. "Take off your headband." Kiba said, jumping back onto the dragon.

Jurei had taken a bit aback by the other ninja hitting him to the ground. Seriously the world was not being nice today, the sand ninja thought he was making a lucky break and then he gets to be overly aquainted with the dirt, causing a little conversation to go through his head: "Hello dirt how are you?" "Not bad, can you please remove your face" "Currently Im a little tied up sorry" "I dont care about that what about my needs? Im sick and tired of taking your crap", and with that the dirt walked away with its suitcases in hand.
Jurei shook his head and came back to reality, coming to grips with the fact that the ninja pinning him to the ground might have saved him a lot of more arduous fighting. He hoped that was the case anyway. He took his freed hand and untied his hitai-ate dropping it on the ground. So it seemed that by the large he now had more enemies then friends, what a pleasant situation to be in.
Jurei followed the man up onto the dragon, seriously hoping that wherever they were going would be more polite...

For Dante these seemingly random and quite unusual occurrences were beginning to get old, you see even with all of his specialized skills it was still very easy to catch him off guard when he expected nothing out of the ordinary to happen. He had just moments before released the Youki jutsu that served as his temporary eyes when he found himself flung once more into the dirt. "umph..." he mumbled as his face made contact with the soft ground. It wasn't so much that he minded the abrupt changes so much as not really getting any warning, and being blind often came with the distinct disadvantage in sensory forewarning for most things like this.
As the danger seemed to pass Dante pushed himself up, patting off his cloak as best he could then making a hasty handsign to reactivate his recently released jutsu. "Is that going to be a regular happening for our little group?" he asked, his voice dripping with 'polite' sarcasm. Once he had successfully dusted himself off, or at least reached the point where he assumed he had successfully dusted himself of (he had in fact never really gotten too very dusty) he moved slowly to the dragon, onto which he jumped deftly without so much as a second thought.
